The Game Studio @ Champlain College sported 12 teams/games at GameFest 2013. Prof. Jonathan Ferguson coordinated and facilitated Champlain’s GameFest Exhibitors, and transported over fifteen computer systems to support Champlain students. Thanks to all of the Champlain Exhibitors, who helped to pack, unload, and repack the van with those systems. Setup and tear-down of all of these games was completed in record time in the EMPAC at RPI. Great work everyone!
The following games created entirely by students in The Game Studio at Champlain College, were exhibited at GameFest 2013:
- Trash Lords
- Eb and Flo
- Sagittarii Run
- Quibly Ball
- Crisis of the Super-Verse
- Sasquatch: Photo-Bomber
Great job everyone! It was a fantastic showing for The Game Studio at Champlain College! 12 games! Champlain’s largest showing at GameFest yet!
Champlain College has participated in the GameFest since 2010. Prior to 2012, Champlain was not permitted to participate in the competition due to our collaborative production process. In 2012 the rules were changed to take development time into account. In 2012, Champlain took home First and Second place with Loc, and Satoshi and the Thousand Samurai.
